I'd like to give a second thumbs up to Terrain Bookkeeping and Abby Gallo. After I looked at several alternatives, they took over our bookkeeping last year. Previously, all of it was done by our owner/veterinarian and as the practice had gotten too big, we really needed someone. Our owner hired me as the Practice Administrator and I in turn found and hired Terrain. They have been a Godsend. They cleaned up our books, moved us from QB desktop to QB online, and trained us on how to successfully work with them (Terrain). Over this past year, we finished work on a large new building and moved into it, so our finances, expenses and AP were all over the place. Terrain has kept us organized, and helped us tremendously to track the expenses for the entire project. We get great monthly reports as well as a video explaining them. Our contact Libby is very quick to respond to my questions and has made several suggestions to us on how we can keep our finances and tracking in better order. We don't have the do Accounts payable - I pay the bills, but they have access to most of our accounts so they know what is going on and ask questions when something doesn't make sense or needs clarification or correction. They even caught a mistake that our payroll company made. I think you have to really trust your bookkeeping service for it to work well, and we really trust them. Highly recommend them - worth serious consideration.
